Marist Magic Women – 2026 Season Wrap
The Marist Magic Women have finished the 2026 Suzuki NZ National Water Polo Club League season with a National Bronze Medal after an impressive Finals Weekend in Tauranga.
After battling through a competitive regular season, Magic opened Finals Weekend with a convincing 18–5 victory over Sea Wolf, earning a place in the semi-finals against North Harbour.
The semi-final proved to be a bruising encounter between two evenly matched sides. In a game that swung back and forth throughout, the women fought hard until the final whistle but were edged out 12–9 in a closely contested battle.
The team regrouped for the third-place playoff against Canterbury. Showing plenty of determination, the girls produced solid performance claiming a well-earned 15–11 victory to finish the season on the podium with bronze medals.
