The Marist U16 Red Girls team finished the New Zealand U16 National Championships in first place. After finishing with a silver medal earlier in the Auckland Water Polo League, the girls went one better at the National Championships in Christchurch to secure Gold. The team went through the tournament unbeaten, finishing in the final with a 7-5 win over North Harbour Maroon.
