Marist Eastern League
The Marist Eastern League is open to all year 7 & 8 students.
The Marist Eastern League is a water polo competition for Year 7 & 8 school teams that takes place during Term 2 and 3.
The first games of the 2024 season will be held on Friday the 10th of May. The final games will take place on Friday the 13th of September.
All games will be held at Sacred Heart College Aquatic Centre.
All games are to be completed before 9:00pm.
All games are played in the full pool.
Our playing rules are aligned with New Zealand Water Polo.
Given many of our participating players will be unavailable, please note that there are no games on the following dates:
- Friday 31st May – Mountford Park King’s Birthday Weekend U12 Tournament
- Friday 21st June – New Zealand Water Polo Winter Festival Tournament
- Friday 2nd August – New Zealand Water Polo Tim Sonderer Tournament
- Friday 30 August – AIMS Games
If your team requires a later start time due to the distance you must travel to get to the Sacred Heart Aquatic Centre, this can be accommodated.
If your child would like to play in the competition but their school does not have a Year 7/8 water polo team, please contact Schools@maristwaterpolo.co.nz. We will endeavour to place your child in a team.
